"Easy return, refund was about average"
The return process was simple and hassle-free. The refund did take a few days to show up, so not the fastest I’ve seen, but pretty much in line with what I’ve experienced from most other stores.

When it arrived, the box gave me the impression that the product wasn’t as premium as I expected. It wasn’t necessarily a big issue, but to me, the packaging looked a little cheap.

I tried to place my order a few times, but the checkout page kept freezing on me before I could finish. Not saying it’s a scam, but it definitely made me feel unsure about putting my payment info in and continuing.

"Wanted to love it, but nope"
I really wanted to like Gisou, but this just did not work for my hair. Even using a tiny bit, it left so much buildup and my hair felt heavy and kinda greasy. I literally had to wash it twice to get that gross feeling out, and my scalp still felt off. For the price, I expected wayyy better tbh. Def not buying again...

"Helped a Little, But Still Some Frizz"
I wanted this to be the thing that finally smoothed my hair out completely, and while it did help a bit, my hair is still a little frizzy. It’s not a total miss, but it reminded me that my hair probably just has its own texture and personality, and that’s okay. I’ll keep using it, but I’m adjusting my expectations a bit.

"Works well for my thick wavy hair"
I have thick, wavy hair this oil really does help calm down my frizz. You definitely don’t need a lot though, and I’ll admit it can look greasy if I overdo it, but that’s kind of on me for using too much. Overall, I’m happy with it and would keep using it.

I ordered from Gisou and have been using it for a few weeks now. i was kind of blaming the product at first because I didn’t notice much right away, but turns out my scalp just needed a little time. It feels less itchy now and not as tight after washing, which is a big relief. Happy with it overall.

"Surprisingly Softer Hair, But I’m Still Cautious"
I’ve only used it twice so far, and I wasn’t expecting much. My hair does feel softer already, which is a nice surprise, but I’m still waiting to see if it actually keeps working or if it ends up being one of those products that seems great at first and then disappoints.

The honey tastes nice and I did enjoy it, but I’m not totally comfortable with some of the fillers listed. I’m a little careful about what I buy and eat regularly, so that part makes me hesitate to purchase it again.

"Cute bottle, but I should’ve trusted my gut"
I really wanted to love the gisou hair oil because the packaging is so and I’d heard a lot of good things about it. But my first instinct after trying it was that it was just too heavy for my hair. Even using the tiniest amount, it made my ends look nice for maybe an hour, and then my hair started looking flat and greasy like I hadn’t washed it. I’m guessing it might work better for thicker or drier hair, but for me it just wasn’t worth the price. 2 stars.

"My Hair Feels Suspiciously Good"
Okay, so my hair is actually softer now and way less dry than before. I’m not saying there’s a whole conspiracy behind why everything else made my hair feel like straw, but it does make you wonder. This stuff worked better than I expected.

"Way too strong for me"
I really thought I was going to like this. The idea of it sounded nice. But the scent... wow. One spray and it was everywhere. It stayed in my hair all day, but not in a good way. Super sweet, really heavy, and it gave me a headache. I expected something softer. More subtle. I ended up washing my hair again just to get rid of it. For the price, yeah, I’m disappointed.

"Nice packaging that actually works"
I really liked the packaging on this. I keep it in my bathroom drawer next to way too many half-used products, and it opens easily without spilling or making a mess everywhere. Small thing, but I appreciate not having to clean out the drawer again.

"Nice products, but the hype makes me hesitant"
I really wanted to love Gisou because the packaging is beautiful and the products I tried were fine. That said, the brand feels a little too influencer-heavy for me, and it makes it hard to fully trust the hype, especially with the prices being on the higher side. I don’t think the products are bad at all, and I can see why some people like them, but I’m just not totally convinced they’re worth the splurge for me.

"Didn’t really do anything for my hair"
I really wanted to like this, but i just didn’t notice much of a difference. I used it a few times and my hair still felt dry and frizzy, which was disappointing. For the price, I was expecting a lot more. It does smell nice, so I’ll give it that, but yeah… that’s about it for me.

"Not really for me"
I wanted to like this, but my color started looking dull quickly after using it. I guess it did the job okay in some ways, but i’m not impressed enough to buy it again.

"Okay, Gisou kind of proved me wrong"
I’ve been using Gisou for a few months now, and I have to admit, my hair actually feels healthier. My ends don’t look as dry as they used to, and overall my hair feels a bit stronger. It definitely didn’t happen overnight, so I feel like the hype makes it seem a little easier than it is, but I’m happy with the results.

"Decent, just a little heavier than expected"
The texture is okay, but it’s a bit heavier than I thought it would be. It spreads fine, though sometimes it feels a little sticky on my skin. Not bad at all, haha, I just have to be careful not to use too much because the consistency can feel a bit much...

"Decent, but a bit too sweet for me"
It’s not a bad scent at all, and I can see why some people might like it, but it was just way too sweet for my taste. I kept noticing it in a kind of annoying way throughout the day, so it’s decent, just not really for me.
